TourHub ("we", "us") operates the TourHub platform — AI-powered software for destination management companies (DMCs) and their travel partners — and this marketing website at thetourhub.com.

2. What we collect

Website: if you request early access or contact us, we collect the details you submit — typically your name, email address, company and message. Basic analytics (pages viewed, approximate location, device type) are collected to understand how the site is used.

Platform: when a DMC or its clients use the TourHub platform, we process the information needed to build and manage travel itineraries — traveller names, contact details, party composition, travel dates and preferences, and booking, quotation and payment records. The DMC you are dealing with is responsible for that relationship; we process this information to provide the platform to them.

3. Why we process it

To provide and improve the platform and this website; to respond to enquiries; to send transactional messages (for example an itinerary a consultant shares with you); to keep the service secure; and to meet legal obligations.

We process personal information in line with the South African Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and, where applicable, other data protection laws.

4. Sharing

We share information only where needed to deliver the service: with the DMC handling your trip, with suppliers being booked on your behalf, and with the service providers that host and support our infrastructure (such as cloud hosting and email delivery). We do not sell personal information.

5. Retention and security

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and protect it with appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit and access controls.

6. Your rights

You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask for corrections, or object to processing, subject to applicable law. Email bookings@thetourhub.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are a client of a DMC using TourHub, we may refer your request to that DMC as the responsible party.
